Hollow Parlor - Artist Agreement

This agreement is between Hollow Parlor and                                                            

Referred to as artist.

Hollow Parlor will be responsible for and provide the following; 

  • Provide space for the sale of Art via Hollow Parlor website

  • Promote Art/Artist via social media

      • Hollow Parlor will not gate keep artists work, if the artist has items showing elsewhere, or will be at an event or will otherwise be working outside of the scope of Hollow Parlor website, Hollow Parlor will act as agent for the artist and promote that work/event on behalf of the artist. 

  • Provide a place to connect with audience and community via Patreon and social media

  • Handle shipping to customer of sold items

The artist will be responsible for and provide the following;

  • Providing items for sale in time for launch of collections

  • Provide the items in time for shipping of sold items

        • Customers will pay shipping, but until there is a central location where items can be safely stored, artists will need to be responsible for storing art until it is sold, and will need to convey sold art to Hollow Parlor for shipping upon sale of item. Artist will also need to inform Hollow Parlor if any items on the website sell outside of Hollow Parlor, so that the item may be taken down in a timely manner. 

  • Provide information relating to your work as an artist for use in artist biographies and interviews etc. 

        • It is not necessary that all the work the artist creates is suitable for Hollow Parlor, as long as the artist creates work that is within the specific concept of Hollow Parlor, then Hollow Parlor will still promote work done by the artist outside of that concept.

As for the commission of art, we have three options for the artist to choose from. 

Option 1) 10% per sale to be withheld at monthly payout, 

Option 2) $3 per month as member fee 

Option 3) Create and provide a monthly item for subscribers

The artist can change their option as needed by the 1st of the month.
